Project Manager of a five person team that performed an assessment of the Business Continuity practices of a global media and entertainment company that supports that supported approximately 12,000 end users and 312 business process, within the specific areas identified for this assessment; - Led a four person team that reviewed and developed Command & Control Communication and Business Continuity procedures for a cable television network; - Project Manager for fifteen simultaneous projects that supported the spin off a new IT department resulting from the merger of two international telecommunication companies; - Project Manager for a twelve person team that designed planned and implemented a Data Center Consolidation Project for a major publishing company; and - Facilitated project blueprinting and vendor management activities with client and resurrected a key vendor relationship that had been in a state of decay for several months.

- Facilitated the writing twenty four Business Continuity Plans for a leading ecommerce software company; - Managed the build out of a Big Four Accounting Firm’s regional data center in Germany; - Directed a ten person Business Continuity Team for North America’s largest consumer electronics specialty retailer that performed analysis and mapped processes on over 800 applications; - Created, maintained and regularly tested the Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Plans, and implemented ongoing improvements in contingency planning for the U.S. operations of a global money management firm with $204 billion in assets under management; and - Developed and implemented Disaster Recovery Plan for a global money management firm that allowed client to achieve a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of less than 24 hours.

- Led a ten person vendor and internal team that Prepared and presented executive level briefs concerning disaster recovery preparedness and convinced IT stakeholders to invest $6 million in a high availability recovery solution reducing Recovery Time Objective (RTO) to 4 hours from 2 weeks; - Created, maintained and quarterly tested the Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Plans, and implemented ongoing improvements across a heterogamous operating environment consisting of an HP3000 mainframe, 200 Unix Servers, 150 NT Servers and 25 Linux Servers; and - Coordinated the Disaster Recovery response to multiple client and mandated audits resulting in 100% compliance.

- Managed an IT Risk Assessment Project for an automotive supplier of its IT Infrastructure that resulted in 100% compliance with auditing requirements and the client was able to gain a $20 million service contract. This assessment lead to and engagement in which to a business impact analysis project was conducted for the client which conclusively documented that company would lose $5 million per day if no disaster recovery plan were implemented; and - Reviewed and recommended efficiency changes to Tape Backup Solution and Off-Site Tape Recall Procedures for a financial services company resulting in an efficiency increase of 30% for an automotive supplier.

- Created, maintained and quarterly tested the Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Plans; - Implemented ongoing improvements in contingency planning for fifteen business units; - Responsible for all aspects of Information Systems security planning, training and administration for all critical business functions, Telecommunications and personnel safety; - Conceived and implemented new data security procedures and corporate awareness program for employees that reduced security violations by 80%; - Negotiated a hot-site disaster recovery contract that saved the company $100K annually and generated $750K in overall savings in the disaster recovery department; - Coordinated the responses to both internal and external auditors. Achieved strong ratings for EDP/IS audits and overall office security audits; and - Coordinated the Year 2000 IT Assessment Initiative for company’s heterogeneous operating environment consisting of over 125 servers.
